WPF Selection Controls Class Hierarchy

The seventy-fourth part of the Windows Presentation Foundation Fundamentals tutorial looks at the base classes of the WPF selection controls. This article includes the inheritance hierarchy of all of the WPF controls seen in the tutorial so far.

Selection Controls

The last group of articles in the WPF tutorial have described six controls that are used to allow the user to make selections. These are the CheckBox, RadioButton, ListBox, Separator, ComboBox and Slider controls. Let's now add these controls and their base classes to the WPF control inheritance hierarchy. Understanding the hierarchy helps you to fully understand how the controls can be used and the details of their shared methods, properties and events.
